We’ve been following Eversense for years here at Diabetes Connections. Now we’re getting a look at what happens when the year-long CGM is paired with an automated insulin delivery system.

Dr. Fran Kaufman is back with new real-world data on Eversense 365, including early results from people using it with the twiist insulin pump. We talk about time in range, who’s using the system, and what they’re learning so far.

Next steps: an Eversense sensor with no external transmitter at all, sending glucose data directly from under the skin to other devices like a pump or phone. Dr. Kaufman explains the technology they’re already studying, plus what’s happening with pediatric plans and additional pump integrations.

Detroit/Bloomfield— we’re getting close! 💙

Moms’ Night Out is coming to Bloomfield Hills September 18–19, and if you’ve been thinking about joining us, now’s the time.

Registration closes after this Thursday, September 10.

Moms’ Night Out is for moms of children with diabetes AND women living with type 1. It’s an overnight event filled with diabetes education and technology, one-on-one time with diabetes educators, great food, cocktails, honest conversations and a whole lot of fun.

My favorite part is always the people.

You can come with a friend, but please don’t let “I don’t know anyone” keep you home. So many women come on their own. That’s kind of the point. You walk into a room where you may not know anyone, but you already have something pretty big in common.

If you’re newly diagnosed yourself, decades into T1D, or raising a little one, parenting a teenager, or watching your T1D kid become an adult, there’s a place for you here.

Amazing Club 1921 event in Davidson last night.

We spent the evening exploring one of the newest options in diabetes technology: the twiist™ insulin pump system.

Of course, we also had a lot of fun, did some ice breakers, enjoyed some great food & drink, and got to spend time with the local T1D community.
