In the beginning, I didn't realize that I was a songwriter. After reading one of my papers, my college professor looked at me and said, "you're gonna be a famous writer someday". I didn't believe one way or the other. Puzzled, I just replied, "thank you?" and kindly accepted my "A".

Outside of my family, immediate and extended including my church family and childhood friends,...these ladies have always believed in my gift... they were my coworkers who became my friends...Since 1998-Sandra B., Crystal, Latonya, Jodie, Flora and Joyce Since 2006- Konesha, Larrise, Kimmie, Lynette, Lorrae, Angie, Alesia, Diane...a few guys..Lamont, Marvin, Steve, Montel, Robert(RIP), Larreese and...one guy in particular Steven N. who "gave" me a mixing board. (never got it to work buddy🤣)....however, that gesture initiated potentially what I could achieve musically if I could just get it/gift to work. Thanks for taking a stab at my first logo and Big Anthony who made the second attempt. There were so many more who encouraged me along the way...even at the end of my exit from IDHS especially, Althea, Jackie, Sharon, Laura and Beatriz plus the two ladies who came to help with the survey‼ Thank you all so much for your love an support❤❤❤

When I first started this journey toward , although willing, I was a bit fearful and unsure of what it actually was. I knew that I should pursue a path in the area of music, but that was it. Which path, I didn't know. Nevertheless, I thought like most, prepare for Plan B just in case Plan A don't work out! Went to school..got a degree in the field of computer technology. Not because I was passionate about it, but because of the field's promise of financial stability for my family and I. I tried to embrace and love the future that I planned for us, but my focus was always somewhere else. Unfufilled still years later, I obtained another degree. This time in the business field. I even worked for DHS for a little over 20yrs to make sure that my future would be solidified. My plans. I've learned a lot, even met some cool people but, I am convinced that all this time I'd used up was spent working my way back to Plan A..crazy!

I almost forgot that at one point..I had hair..nice thick hair. I guess if I had said "Yes" back then, I wouldn't have had to wait almost 12 yrs for it to began to grow back🤣

-Moral to this story.. , you better be in position to hear. Don't waste precious time on paths you were never purposed to take. What you're unsure of or maybe even afraid to do, trust not in yourself and your own ability, but trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not unto your own understanding, submit to God in all of yours ways, then He will be sure to direct your paths. Prov 3:5-6
