Doors open at 2PM. Music starts at 3PM.
It’s free, it’s early, and it’s stacked with local noise, songs, chaos, and whatever else happens when you put three bands in a room on a Sunday afternoon.

Lexi took the stage at The Houston Collective Showcase and delivered something that felt less like a performance and more like a release.

Her sound sits right at the intersection of melody and intensity—alt-rock driven by emotion that doesn’t hold back. You can hear it in every transition, every build, every moment where the music leans into something heavier without losing its clarity.

Rooted in themes of love, loss, and anger, Lexi’s set carried that raw honesty all the way through. It wasn’t polished for the sake of perfection—it was real, and that’s exactly what made it land.

This is what The Houston Collective is about. Giving artists the space to show up fully, without filters, and letting the audience experience something genuine.

Trout Fishing in America—a Grammy-nominated duo made up of Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet—are teaching a songwriting workshop (for a nominal fee of $20) on Saturday, March 21 from 4 to 5 p.m.

At this one-of-a-kind workshop, the duo will share their unique techniques, strategies, and methodology for writing songs. They will also guide attendees through basic songwriting steps like brainstorming topics, developing storylines, finding rhymes, and building self-esteem by turning everyday ideas into music.

After the workshop, Trout Fishing in America will perform a FREE concert FOR ALL AGES from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at League Park.
