Lexi took the stage at The Houston Collective Showcase and delivered something that felt less like a performance and more like a release.

Her sound sits right at the intersection of melody and intensity—alt-rock driven by emotion that doesn’t hold back. You can hear it in every transition, every build, every moment where the music leans into something heavier without losing its clarity.

Rooted in themes of love, loss, and anger, Lexi’s set carried that raw honesty all the way through. It wasn’t polished for the sake of perfection—it was real, and that’s exactly what made it land.

Trout Fishing in America—a Grammy-nominated duo made up of Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet—are teaching a songwriting workshop (for a nominal fee of $20) on Saturday, March 21 from 4 to 5 p.m.

At this one-of-a-kind workshop, the duo will share their unique techniques, strategies, and methodology for writing songs. They will also guide attendees through basic songwriting steps like brainstorming topics, developing storylines, finding rhymes, and building self-esteem by turning everyday ideas into music.

After the workshop, Trout Fishing in America will perform a FREE concert FOR ALL AGES from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at League Park.

The League City Concert Band is inviting YOU to join their vibrant community of musicians!

For over 28 years, this talented ensemble has proudly served as League City’s official performing band, bringing music to city events, festivals, and community activities. Whether you are a student, professional, retiree, former band member, or just ready to dust off your instrument, there is a place for you.

Rehearsals are Tuesdays at 7pm.

The band is currently seeking:
Flute • Oboe • Clarinet • Saxophone • Trumpet • French Horn • Trombone • Baritone • Tuba • Percussion
