CHICAGO, WE’RE COMING YOUR WAY!!!

Hood Orchestra will be in Chicago September 17–20 bringing music education, masterclasses, and community together.

We have ONE masterclass availability left for Chicago educators and organizations interested in bringing Hood Orchestra to their students. If you’re interested, visit hoodorchestra.org to apply. Tag a school or music program who needs some Music Education.

And we’re closing out the week with a Jam Session hosted by Michael Prince and Samuel Williams !

Nichole Thompson is a Jamaican-American flutist, teacher, and performer based in Austin. She recently earned her Master’s of Music in Flute Performance from the Butler School of Music at the University of Texas at Austin. Nichole has built an audience through her flute freestyle improvisations.

This evening will be full of live music, community, and creativity featuring a jam session + showcase. We’re also calling ALL musicians in the Austin area!!! We have a few musician slots available if you would like to participate. If you are interested in just attending the good vibe, you are more than welcome!

Nichole Thompson is a Jamaican-American flutist, teacher, and performer based in Austin. Nichole has built an audience of over 400K followers through her flute freestyle improvisations. Her sound has taken her to major stages including the 2024 Eezy Ball and FIFA Fan Fest Houston. Now, she’s bringing that energy to the Hood Orchestra jam session.
