I try not to respond to this kind of behavior, but clarity matters—especially for anyone who has ever been lied on, misrepresented, or targeted simply for standing in the truth.
Candice Matthews and her puppets continue to attack me every time her own actions are exposed, attempting to manufacture the appearance of a back-and-forth. There isn’t one. I am not engaged in a personal feud, and I don’t participate in appearance-based attacks, insults, or manufactured drama. What’s happening here is deflection, plain and simple.
I am proud of who and what I am, Candice. I survived a 16-year battle with an eating disorder, and anyone who has survived something like that understands how deeply personal and hard-won that healing is. I worked for my health, my peace, and my recovery. So when someone fixates on my body or my weight, it says far more about their character than it ever could about mine.
What’s especially telling is how the story keeps changing. First, I was supposedly obsessed with Quanell. Then I was “mad” about access. Now I’m allegedly obsessed with her. When facts don’t support the narrative, the narrative just keeps getting rewritten. That’s not truth, that’s damage control.
For the record, I have never had a relationship with Candice Matthews, personal or professional. The only meaningful interaction occurred in 2022, when my work was taken and presented as her own. Other than that, I may have seen her once or twice at press conferences where I had no involvement with her at all. That is the extent of it.
The only people I ever communicated with regularly or had any type of relationship with were Quanell X and one of the sisters, with whom I still maintain a cordial and respectful relationship. We know each other’s character. Anyone who truly knows me knows the stories being told about me are not true.
What should concern people and what this behavior is clearly designed to distract from are the serious allegations surrounding Candice Matthews’ own conduct. These attacks surface whenever questions arise about her illegal and unethical activity, including money laundering, hiding assets, tax fraud, and the collapse of Children of Diversity, Candice Matthews' failed nonprofit organization where children were repeatedly placed into abusive foster homes. Instead of accountability, the response is retaliation.
Even more disturbing is the extent to which Candice Matthews, Griselda Castillo, and their associates—including Kristen Dowdy—have gone to retaliate against me. They have exploited my minor children, fabricated stories about them, and even continued to weaponize a minor victim of crime to harm me. That is not advocacy. It is not journalism. It is exploitation and it is both disgraceful and indefensible.
This is not an isolated incident. It is a pattern. When exposure happens, the response is harassment, intimidation, and public smearing, not just toward me, but toward judges, members of the public, former friends, and former associates. I am aware of multiple individuals who have experienced similar behavior. That doesn’t happen by accident.
I don’t believe this continues because of power. I believe it continues because people are afraid, afraid of retaliation, afraid of being smeared, afraid of being harassed into silence. That fear is what allows wrongdoing to stay hidden.
I’m sharing this not just for myself, but for anyone who has ever been targeted by these frauds for telling the truth. I will continue to focus on facts, documentation, and accountability. I don’t need to attack appearances or invent stories. The truth doesn’t need fabrication because it stands on its own.
And on a practical note: their continued behavior has done nothing but generate additional evidence. That evidence is already being preserved and added to the lawsuit that was filed against them in November.
