Formed in Houston, TX in 2024, instrumental power trio Grim Trophies are known for their intense live shows and their blend of shifting time signatures and aggressive riffs that is best described as punk rock meets King Crimson. The band are currently recording their debut full length and have a song featured on the upcoming compilation The Cat that Wouldn’t Die to be released by C.I.A. Records.

Band Announcement: CHOKE

Since 1994 Choke has been churning out some of the thickest swampy riffs and grooves in the heavy underground. The band hailing from Lake Charles, alongside heavyweight brethren a little further east - Acid Bath, Crowbar, Eyehategod and others, helped to forge the Sludge Metal scene born in Southern Louisiana in the 90’s. Their latest album “Religion for those without Faith” was released to much critical acclaim in 2025 and adorned many best of 2025 lists in the media.
