A Prayer For Your Home Tonight

Father, as this day comes to an end, I thank You for Your grace that carried me through.
Tonight I lay down every worry, every argument, every heavy thought at Your feet.
Cover my home, cover my spouse, cover my heart with Your peace.
Forgive me where I fell short, and restore what needs restoring.
Give us rest, deep and healing rest, and let Your love watch over us through the night.
Save this for tonight. Share it with someone who needs peace. ✨

God Hasn’t Left You At The End
You’re so good at suffering quietly that no one sees you’re drowning.
You feel like you’re at the end of the world, but God hasn’t left you at the end. He’s sitting with you in it.

Exodus 9 - God Protects His Own

This is why I love Exodus 9. 🐄
While Egypt lost:
• Their livestock [5th plague]
• Their health with painful boils [6th plague]
• Their crops with hail and fire [7th plague]
God’s people in Goshen were completely protected. Exodus 9:26 says “Only in the land of Goshen, where the Israelites were, was there no hail.”
That’s living free in Christ. The judgment doesn’t hit where God’s hand is covering you.
God didn’t just free Israel FROM Egypt, He showed He was more powerful THAN Egypt’s gods.

Exodus Chapter 8 hit me different. 🐸
Pharaoh kept hardening his heart, thinking he was in control. So God showed His power over all of Egypt with 3 plagues:
1. Frogs everywhere
2. Gnats / Lice from the dust
3. Swarms of flies
But the most powerful verse? Exodus 8:23
God said "I will make a distinction between my people and your people."
Egypt experienced the plague. God's people experienced PEACE.
You are set apart. You are not forgotten in the swarm. You are living FREE in Christ.

EXODUS 7 - When God Confronts Your Pharaoh

Living Free in Christ | Exodus Chapter 7
Exodus 7:1-5 says “I have made you like God to Pharaoh.”
1. Your staff becomes a serpent - God gives you authority
2. Their serpents get swallowed - God’s power is greater than any counterfeit
3. The water turns to blood - God confronts the very source Egypt depended on
God doesn’t just free you FROM something, He frees you FOR His purpose. The same power that confronted Pharaoh lives in you.

When It Gets Worse Before It Gets Better | Exodus 6

In Exodus 6, Israel is losing hope and Moses feels unqualified.
But God reminds him of 4 powerful truths:
1. I am YAHWEH - the covenant keeping God
2. I remember my promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob
3. I will deliver you with an outstretched arm
4. I will take you as my own people
Your situation is not the end of the story. God is still writing it.

Exodus 5 Explained: Why God Sometimes Lets It Get Harder

Exodus Chapter 5 🙏
Moses and Aaron walk into Pharaoh’s palace with a simple message from God: “Let My people go.”
Pharaoh’s response? “Who is the Lord that I should obey Him?”
And then he takes away their straw but demands the same number of bricks.
The Israelites didn’t praise Moses... they blamed him.
And Moses even asked God, “Why have you made trouble for this people?”
Lesson: Deliverance isn’t always instant. Sometimes the burden gets heavier right before the breakthrough.

WHAT’S IN YOUR HAND? | Exodus 4

Exodus 4 hit me different.
Moses had every excuse:
“They won’t believe me.”
“I’m not a good speaker.”
“Send someone else.”
And God had an answer for every excuse.
He took what Moses ALREADY had in his hand - a simple staff - and turned it into a serpent. Made his hand leprous then healed it. Showed He could turn water to blood.
He wasn’t asking Moses to be qualified. He was showing him that HE is enough.
And then He sent Aaron, to remind Moses he doesn’t have to do it alone.
Stop waiting to feel ready. Use what’s in your hand.
