Not every baby item is worth the hype 👀 After 4 kids, I’ve learned that some things sounded great in theory… but ended up collecting dust in my house. These are a few things I personally wouldn’t buy again and what I’d choose instead. What baby item do you regret buying? 👇

My baby is popping his first tooth, and for some reason it has me feeling all kinds of emotional 🥹❤️ Maybe it’s because every new milestone is a reminder that he’s growing up. One day I’ll rock him to sleep for the last time. One day he’ll fall asleep on my chest for the last time. Most of the “lasts” happen before we even realize they’re the last. You don’t have to love every phase. You don’t have to soak up every second. But sometimes it’s nice to pause and remember that even the hard things don’t last forever. ❤️

After 4 kids, I’ve learned that a successful beach day isn’t about packing more stuff… it’s about packing the right stuff. ☀️🏖️ These are the beach bag essentials that make our trips so much easier—from the makeup brush sunscreen hack to the sand remover bag that saves my car from becoming a beach. 😅 What is ONE thing you never go to the beach without? 👇

One thing that surprised me most about having a 6 month old 🤍 Around this age, babies suddenly become so much more aware of the world. They get distracted while eating, frustrated when they can’t get where they want to go, and interested in absolutely everything around them. A lot of parents worry they’re doing something wrong, but often these changes are signs of healthy development. If you have a 6 month old, what change surprised you the most?

Nobody warned me that around 6 months babies stop feeling like tiny newborns and start feeling like little people. 🤍 They’re more curious, more opinionated, more aware of the world around them, and honestly… so much fun. If your baby is doing these things, you’re not doing anything wrong. They’re growing exactly how they’re supposed to. ✨ Save this for later ✨ Follow for realistic baby tips from an FNP & mom of 4

I spent so much time worrying with my first baby 🥹 Now, four babies later, I’ve realized that many of the things that made me panic were actually completely normal developmental phases. Not every behavior is a red flag. Sometimes it’s just growth in disguise 🤍 What worried you most with your first baby?

One thing I learned after 4 babies 🤍 Age alone wasn’t what I looked at before starting solids. I wanted to see signs that he was actually interested and ready to participate in mealtime. Every baby develops at their own pace, but these were the clues I watched for before we got started 🥹 What was your baby’s first food? 👇

Nobody talks enough about this part 🤍 Everyone prepares you for the hard changes, but around 6 months a few things started feeling lighter for me. More smiles, more personality, more interaction… and watching my kids love on him has become one of my favorite parts of motherhood. What got easier for you around this stage? ⬇️

It’s normal to wonder if you’re doing something wrong with some of these changes. Around this age babies become more aware, more curious, and often want to do things they can’t quite do yet 🤍 Save this if you’re in the 6 month stage.
