The beauty. The trees. The clouds. The animals. The way nature just exists without asking permission.

There’s something about being outside that reminds me what freedom actually feels like. No schedules. No expectations. No pressure to perform or fit into some box.

Just life being life.

A whole world existing outside the systems we created… and sometimes I think nature understands freedom better than we ever will. 🐿️🌳☁️

Y’all I did a thing!! I officially finished and published my very first ebook, The Alchemy of Sound!

I’m seriously so excited because I put a lot into creating this. I didn’t want to just make another book telling people what crystal singing bowls are. I wanted something that actually helps you understand them and learn how to work with them yourself.

The Alchemy of Sound walks through crystal singing bowls, the chakras, notes, frequencies, resonance, how to play your bowls, how to work with multiple bowls together and how to start building your own intentional sound practice.

It has 24 progressive lessons with exercises and space to actually practice what you’re learning along the way, because I wanted it to be something you could USE, not just read and forget about. I also made it clear, structured, and step-by-step in a way that helps my neurodivergent brain stay engaged and actually absorb the information. I wanted it to feel relatable and doable, not overwhelming or overly complicated.

And honestly, finishing my first ebook feels pretty damn good. I made a whole BOOK, y’all. 😂

Growth is not always dramatic.

Sometimes it is not a breakthrough, a major transformation, or suddenly having everything figured out.

Sometimes growth is answering one message you have been avoiding. Taking care of one small task. Setting one boundary. Resting before you completely burn out. Or simply showing up again after a difficult day.

I used to believe progress only counted when I could clearly see the results. Now I am learning that the small steps matter too, especially the ones nobody else notices.

You do not have to climb the entire staircase today.

Healing isn’t always a straight line.

Some days feel like progress. Other days feel like returning to the same lesson with a little more awareness, a little more compassion, and a better understanding of what your mind and body need.

For a long time, I thought healing meant constantly moving forward. Now I’m learning that pauses, setbacks, rest, and starting again are part of the journey too.

Sometimes the most important thing you can do is stop measuring how far you still have to go and recognize that you are still here, taking the next step.

What is one area of your life where you’re learning to give yourself more patience?

For years, I thought making binders was just one of my “quirks.”

After being diagnosed as an autistic adult, I realized it was so much more than that.

When I become interested in something, I don’t just read about it, I research it, organize it, categorize it, print it, and build a reference book that I can come back to whenever I need it. It’s one of the ways my brain creates order from what can sometimes feel like chaos.

This healing juice binder is one of many I’ve created, and honestly, making them brings me so much joy. My ADHD loves exploring new ideas, while my autism loves building systems that help me remember and use what I’ve learned. Together, this is one of the ways my brain works.

I’m learning to stop hiding these parts of myself and start sharing them instead.

Sometimes regulation doesn’t look like doing more.

Sometimes it looks like stepping away from the noise, sitting in the grass, breathing fresh air, and spending quiet time beside an animal who asks nothing from you except your presence.

For me, moments like this help my nervous system slow down. No pressure. No performance. No need to explain myself. Just stillness, nature, and companionship.

Learning I’m autistic has helped me recognize that rest and regulation are not laziness. They are part of caring for a brain and body that process a lot.

For most of my life, I thought these were simply parts of my personality.

I didn’t understand why I needed predictability, why certain sounds could instantly irritate or overwhelm me, why I noticed every tiny detail, or why socializing could leave me completely exhausted.

Being diagnosed autistic later in life didn’t suddenly change who I was. It gave me language for things I had spent years misunderstanding, and sometimes judging, about myself.

Now, every new thing I learn feels like meeting a younger version of myself with more compassion and saying:

“There was never anything wrong with you. Your brain simply experienced the world differently.”

What is one thing you once thought was just a personality trait, but later realized was connected to autism or ADHD?
