🚨🗣️ JERSEY GIRL REPORT — LAKEWOOD, TYLER OLIVEIRA, AND TAXPAYER FRUSTRATION

Tyler Oliveira just dropped a documentary about Lakewood — and Jersey residents are saying, “Finally, someone’s talking about it!”

Here’s the thing: this isn’t new. Local residents outside the Lakewood community have been raising concerns for years about overbuilding, budgets, misuse of taxpayer money, and problems that never get addressed. And try to fight it or speak up? Suddenly you’re labeled something you’re not — and that’s been shutting people up for a long time.

Now Tyler’s getting heat — losing endorsements over this one story after years of investigative work. Why? Because the minute a story touches government spending, sensitive community issues, or politics, sponsors freak out, leaders go quiet, and residents raising legitimate questions feel ignored.

Here’s the Jersey Girl question for you: where are our leaders to investigate? Governor Mikie Sherrill Congressman Chris Smith Congressman Jeff Van Drew Congressman Frank Pallone Jr? Residents have been asking for answers for YEARS, and still nobody seems to listen.

Maybe when Vice President JD Vance our new head of the “War of Fraud” task force, is done with Minnesota fraud he can make a stop in NJ. This state always seems to “loose money” and it does not go back to the residents of this state.

So Jersey… what do YOU think?

🚨❄️ JERSEY GIRL REPORT ❄️🚨

For you youngsters who have NO idea what this ancient artifact is… it’s called a radio. Yes — a real one. From the 1990s. Battery powered by approximately 6 giant D batteries and pure survival energy. 📻😂

While the power’s out and we’re all pretending we totally prepared for this storm, shoutout to 94.3 The Point for keeping the good tunes going and saving us from sitting in complete silence.

Honestly… this thing just came out of a closet that hasn’t been opened since flip phones and Blockbuster nights.

👉 Be honest — how many of you STILL have one of these buried somewhere in your house?
👉 Did you actually find batteries that still work?!
👉 Drop a photo of your storm survival setup below 👇

Jersey problems require Jersey solutions. Stay warm, keep those phones charged when you can, and check on your neighbors — especially the ones who definitely still own three of these radios.

We just saw grass for the first time in nearly a month… and Mother Nature said “absolutely not.” Blizzard 2026 has arrived and winter has officially hit the reset button across New Jersey.

Heavy snow and strong winds are moving in fast, with roads quickly becoming snow-covered and visibility dropping across the state. In Howell Township, reports say a transformer blew in front of the Public Works building, causing power outages, with residents also reporting cable and internet disruptions as conditions continue to worsen and snow piles up quickly.

Stay home if you can, stay safe, keep your phones charged, and check on your neighbors — Jersey always gets through it together.

🚨 Jersey Girl Report – Howell, NJ - Route 9 Alert: Potential Heavy Traffic Near Howell ShopRite Due to Power Outage 🚨

Happy Tuesday… you finally dig out from the snow and of course the universe says, “Hold my coffee”

Just submitted by a follower: A tractor-trailer struck a telephone pole, causing a second pole to fall onto the truck, resulting in a power outage and potential heavy traffic delays.

⚠️ This is near the side entrance of the Howell ShopRite on Route 9.

💡 CONFIRMED: ShopRite and the entire plaza are without power. ShopRite is using their back up generator.

⚠️ NOT CONFIRMED: It is unclear which other stores along Route 9 are affected or how far the outage extends at this time.

👷‍♂️ Crews are out and working to restore power, but it’s still unknown how long the outage will last.

🚗 If you’re heading out shopping on Route 9, please plan extra time and be patient — and grab a coffee ☕ if Dunkin’ or Wawa have power

📸 If you’re nearby and have updates, photos, or videos, send them in to help keep the community informed. 💙

♻️ RACING REBOOT: Wall Stadium 2026

Scrolling through Facebook, Rik Ratchet’s announcement about Wall Stadium stopped me in my tracks. ✨ He and Freddie Archer aren’t just talking about running races — they’re promising wheel-to-wheel excitement, a fresh vibe, and respect for the track’s legendary history.

It’s the perfect mix of nostalgia and a fresh start — Wall Stadium getting the love and attention it deserves while keeping its heart alive.

✨ What’s coming:
✅ Sunday Series & Quarter Midget Track 🏎️
✅ Heat Races: wheel-to-wheel excitement 🔥
✅ Hall of Fame honoring past legends 🏆
✅ Safety upgrades & facility refresh ✨
✅ Streamed races for fans 📺

⚠️ Official pushback: Emily Krause used the Wall Stadium page to comment on Rik’s post:

“TRANSPARENCY??? YOU don’t have a lease sir. What’s going to happen when everyone finds out this is a lie?”

The Krause family has been running Wall Stadium for decades and recently announced they will be stepping away from operating the track after 2025. Diane, Emily, and Andrew have kept the track running since Cliff Krause passed in 2018, handling promotions, scheduling, and daily operations. Their history adds context and keeps fans watching closely as this new chapter develops.

❤️ Jersey Girl Take:
We’re keeping our fingers crossed that new ownership is confirmed quickly so the track can grow and thrive like it deserves!

🏁 Engines roaring, fans cheering, and traditions carried on for generations — Wall Stadium is ready for a new chapter!

JERSEY GIRL REPORT: Proposed Dormitory Could Impact Water, Wildlife, and Neighboring Towns

A 50,603 sq ft dormitory-style building is being proposed under Applegate Owner, LLC on Block 4404, Lots 1 & 3 (legally owned by Hard Maple Realty). The site sits directly over a Category One (C1) tributary of the Metedeconk River, the strictest water-quality classification in New Jersey.

What happens here won’t just stay in Jackson — downstream towns including Lakewood, Brick, Point Pleasant, Point Pleasant Beach, Toms River, Berkeley, and Barnegat Bay could all see ripple effects in water quality, wildlife habitat, and stormwater if the project moves forward.

Jersey Girl Report: Freehold, NJ
Apple Cider Donuts, Snow Included 🍎🍩❄️

It snowed yesterday, but winter doesn’t cancel apple cider donut season. I’m on a mission to try every famous apple cider donut spot in Jersey, and today’s stop was Battleview Orchards in Freehold.

I didn’t hit the hot donut window — just a quick stop inside — and the donuts were extremely fresh. You could taste the oil a little bit, but honestly, that just comes with donuts made that day. Soft, sweet, and coated in cinnamon and sugar that actually comes through — exactly what you want on a cold Jersey day.

Also worth a shout-out: Battleview has a no sugar added section. I grabbed chocolate chip cookies and blueberry bread for the diabetic in my life, and it’s nice to see a place thinking about everyone, not just the sugar lovers.

A little Jersey history because this spot is classic: Battleview Orchards has been family-owned since 1908 by the Applegate family, making it one of the oldest pick-your-own orchards in New Jersey. The farm sits near Monmouth Battlefield State Park, so you’re shopping on land that’s been part of Jersey history for centuries.

Fun little twist — I’m actually a descendant of the Applegate family myself, though no known connection to this farm. Still, it was kind of wild tasting what might as well be a distant cousin’s family recipe for donuts. Jersey coincidences at their finest.

If you’re in Freehold, make sure to stop over and grab some treats — trust me, it’s worth it.

Snow on the ground, apple cider donuts still undefeated. One more Jersey classic checked off the list.

So Jersey — where am I going next? 🍩❄️

If you couldn’t tell where I was in the video, keep reading 😉 —I spent the day at Allaire Village and had such a fun time exploring and chatting with the volunteers. They’re some of the kindest, most knowledgeable people, and it’s clear they love sharing NJ history.

Admission is only $5 for the whole park, and every dollar goes back into maintaining this 1830s iron-making town.

A little history: Founded by industrialist James P. Allaire, the Howell Works produced iron goods shipped across the region. The village includes homes, workshops, a school, a bakery, and the chapel — giving visitors a real glimpse into daily life in 19th-century New Jersey.

Fun fact: the Allaire Chapel is in the Guinness Book of World Records because its steeple sits behind the altar — a rare architectural feature.

Buildings you can visit:
🏠 Big House | 🍞 Bakery | 🛠️ Blacksmith | 📦 General Store | 🔨 Carpenter | ✂️ Tailor | 🙏 Chapel | 🏚️ Worker’s Row | 🏫 School | 🏭 Iron Works | 🚂 Pine Creek Railroad

With the holidays coming, the village is getting ready for candlelit paths, decorated homes, and carolers — the ultimate old-fashioned NJ Christmas vibe!

Jersey Girl Report

Congrats to New Jersey’s new Governor, Mikie Sherrill!

Some of you are celebrating, some are frustrated — and that’s fine. That’s Jersey. We feel it all, but we always rise back stronger.

She’s coming in with some big promises — and we’ll be watching:
🌷 Lower everyday costs — groceries, gas, childcare, healthcare.
🏡 More affordable homes — help for first-time buyers and less red tape.
⚡ A “State of Emergency” on rising utility bills.
💰 Tax relief — bigger credits for families and caregivers.
💧 Cleaner water & cleaner energy — safer shorelines and better infrastructure.
🩺 Healthcare transparency — make insurance fair and costs clear.

But let’s be real — real change doesn’t just happen in Trenton. It starts right here, in our towns, schools, and neighborhoods.

If you’re not happy with what’s going on where you live, stop complaining and do something about it. You don’t have to be a politician — you just have to care. Big change starts small — here’s how you can make waves:
• Run for local office — school boards, city councils, township committees.
• Show up and speak up — town meetings, planning boards, public comment periods.
• Volunteer locally — food banks, youth programs, cleanups, community initiatives.
• Organize or join local projects — gardens, neighborhood improvements, voter drives.
• Use social media to get out there and bring awareness — share info, amplify causes, encourage others to take action.

Let’s give her a chance to deliver — but hold every leader accountable, from the Governor’s office to your local town halls.

Here in Jersey, we don’t just wait for change — we make the waves.
