If you’re starting to set goals for 2024, then you are AMAZING!! 🤩

Here are some tips to get you started on the right path:

① Determine your budget and start saving for a down payment. 💰

✨ Pro Tip: You don’t need 20% down! Some lenders take 5% down for a conventional loan. Talk with a mortgage lender to get an idea of how much you will need (If you want a recommendation on great lenders, we’ve got you covered 😉)

② Make sure your credit score is good. If not, work on improving it. A “good” credit score to buy a home typically is 660 or above. Again, please talk with a mortgage lender to find out what they require!

③ Start researching neighborhoods to get an idea of where you want to buy. 🏡

④ Get Pre-Approved so you know exactly what your budget is. 💸

⑤ Find a trusted real estate agent (you can check this one off your list 😉) so they can walk you through the process and make sure you’re protected and getting the best deal possible. 🙌
