COLD WEATHER SHELTER: Due to forecasted low temperatures, Hernando County Emergency Management, in partnership with the City of Brooksville, is opening a Warming Center to provide a safe, warm place for anyone in need.

📍 Location:
Brooksville Enrichment Center
800 John Gary Grubbs Blvd, Brooksville, FL 34601

🕗 Hours:
Open: November 10th at 8:00 PM through November 11th at 8:00 AM

Please note:
• No meals or cots will be provided.
• Pets are not allowed inside the Warming Center.

FREEZE WARNING : The coldest air of the season is expected to arrive today through Tuesday night. A cold weather advisory has been issued for tonight, affecting all of west central and southwest Florida, where wind chills are anticipated to range from the 20s to lower 30s. A freeze warning has been issued for Levy, Citrus, and inland Hernando counties.

UPDATE : Coldest air of the season will arrive today through Tuesday night! A cold weather advisory is in effect tonight for all of west central and southwest Florida as wind chills will generally be in the 20s to lower 30s. Freeze warning for Levy, Citrus, and inland Hernando counties.

FREEZE WATCH CITRUS: The coldest air of the season will arrive Monday night and Tuesday morning! A freeze watch is in effect for Levy and Citrus Counties, and wind chills will drop into the 20s and low 30s across all of west central and southwest Florida.

BREAKING NEWS : Hernando fire Rescue on scene of the Pinebrook medical center at 14540 Cortez Blvd for reports of smoke in the building.
