CHAPTER IX THE SOCIAL PERSONA

Social presence is not performance.
It is not a stage for constant speaking,
constant updates,
constant noise.

Social presence is an extension
of identity.

It is the embodiment of the brand
in the digital world
a place filled with pressure
to be louder, faster, more visible,
more reactive,
more performative
than is ever required.

I do not participate in that rhythm.
My social persona is quiet, intentional, and precise.
It does not chase attention.
It does not rush to speak.
It does not fill space simply to stay visible.
It appears when presence has purpose.

Why are Tuesdays so Tuesday-ish? Here is a Tuesday-ish question for you:

If I want to feel that I have enough right now, what do I need to stop doing or let go?

It's hard to image letting anything go. But what if the idea of letting go was either:
1) Reframed as making room for something less stressful
2)Just simply the idea of delegation

Believe it or not, social media is far more than just posting pictures of your work, it’s a practice in human psychology and the understanding of WHY people buy.

We don’t see the world as it is, we see it as we expect it to be. That’s confirmation bias. People naturally seek out what they already believe.

In marketing, that means your content should affirm your audience’s identity and values.
If your dream client already believes that “a beautiful home is worth investing in,” your job isn’t to convince them, it’s to remind them they’re right.
✨ Speak to what they already feel.
✨ Reflect their worldview back to them.

Make sure you understand your marketing efforts so you can accurately decipher what's working and what isn't.

Do you know the difference between Marketing and Promotions? It’s not fluff, It Is what makes one company fizzle out and another survive.

Marketing has 4 components: PRODUCT, PLACE, PRICE, PROMOTION. Together they create a strategy for growth. Once you are solid in your business; these areas act as levers you can pull depending upon your goals.

Need to adress a change In the economy or are sales dropping with an otherwise good reputation? Look at your PRICING strategy.

Feeling a gap between what you offer and what custoers actually need or want? Pehaps a change in PRODUCT line up or a new service is needed.

Need quick growth, fill a schedule? Thats all PROMO baby! Sales, dicsounts, push

Maybe the PLACE you are trying to sell isn’t where customers are. Trying to sell to young professionals? They’re probably not on Facebook.
