AH-HA Moment. Do you have one?

About one to two weeks after using Lavender and Cedarwood in a diffuser at night, I looked at my husband and said we hadn't been waking up in the middle of the night. My AH-HA moment. The moment I realized that these essential oils from Young Living were beneficial.

Yes, I am a Brand Partner with Young Living, but only because I saw and felt the effects that their products have had on me, my family, and my friends. Please do your research before just buying any old essential oil. And I am always here with any questions you may have.

I am sharing some of my favorite DIY recipes that I use to wind down at night.

Bedtime Diffuser Blend
5 drops Lavender
3 drops Cedarwood
Fill with Purified water

Sleepy Roller
15 ml Glass Roller Bottle
15 drops Lavender
15 drops Peace & Calming
15 drops Tangerine
Fill with Carrier Oil of choice
Roll on the bottom of your feet. I also like to roll on my wrists for the aroma while sleeping.

Epsom Salt Bath- Relax
1 cup Unscented Epsom Salt
10 drops Lavender
10 drops Peace & Calming
Mix in a bowl and throw some in a warm bath and RELAX!

Pillow Spray
4 oz Glass Spray Bottle
15 drops Lavender
15 Bergamot
1/2 tsp Vodka or Witch Hazel
Fill with Distilled Water
Shake before each use

This buffet is available for purchase.

I took all the photos and started editing them this morning when I realized that I forgot to take a photo of the inside of the doors, a little added detail.I will try and get a photo of that posted in the next couple days.

The drawers on this piece were badly damaged so we added shelving instead.

Painted in the color of Saw Mill Gravy with brown wax added for depth. The shelves are painted in the color French Linen. You will have to wait to see the inside of the doors, sorry.

Measures 60”W x 40” H x 20”D

Important topic. This month is su***de prevention month.

September is Su***de Prevention Month. Talking about su***de and your emotions can be difficult. If you are currently battling with depression or unhappiness, we want you to know that there is always someone willing to listen and talk.

As a family member, friend, co-worker, or even as a random individual in the community, it is our job to be there for one another. It can be as easy as asking someone "How are you feeling?" or "Is everything okay?" for them to be comfortable to open up and feel listened to.

Inexpensive DIY.

I found this tray at our local Dollar General Store for $1.80.

I painted the tray with chalk paint in Colonel Mustard and waxed it brown. I decoupaged some fabric on the bottom of the tray.

Sinus Relief

This was shared with me from my upline and has been a game changer in our house.

IMy husband, who has suffered from sinus issues for many years, has ditched his prescription nose spray as well as the over-the-counter allergy pill that he was taking every day.

Xlear Natural Saline Nasal Spray with Xylitol
Lavender
Raven

Peppermint
We placed one drop of each oil in the nasal spray.
