Santa has officially kicked off the holiday season in Hudson!

Last Friday, Library Park came alive as Santa rolled in on a Hudson fire truck, greeted residents, and led the big 10-second countdown to light up the entire park for the holidays.

After the lights were on, Santa headed over to the Community Center for a meet-and-greet with local families, complete with face painting, balloon animals, cookie decorating, and plenty of festive fun.

It was a wonderful night filled with community spirit, bright lights, and a whole lot of holiday cheer.

Happy Holidays, Hudson!

The Trustees thank Hudson citizen Ken Low for his work cleaning headstones in Old Center Cemetery where several of Hudson's veterans of the militia and Revolutionary War are buried. Today, Ken cleaned the stone donated by Hudson VFW Post 5791 at the base of the flagpole at Old Center. "In memory to all veterans of our nation's conflicts to preserve freedom and peace since 1776." This monument was pretty dirty with lots of moss and lichen growing in the letters. Ken has approval from the Trustees to clean headstones in our Town cemeteries. Anyone wishing to clean headstones in the Town cemeteries must request permission form the Cemetery Trustees.
