After months of preparation with the Food Pantry volunteers and Selectmen representatives, seeing this final number tonight has truly moved us.

We are deeply grateful to every business and community member who donated or stopped by the studio this Saturday. Hudson is a community that always comes together to support those in need and this year, you all showed just how strong that spirit really is.

Thank you for making a difference in our community!

Telethon Results. What an incredible day!

I’m pleased to report that yesterday’s Telethon raised $30,190.00, along with over 1,100 pounds of non-perishable food and personal care items.
Even more amazing: our anonymous donor, originally planning to match the amount raised, was so moved by the community’s support that they’ve instead made a fixed donation of $50,000, bringing the total to $80,190.00.

Thank you to everyone for your generosity and hard work.

Demand at the Hudson Community Food Pantry has nearly doubled in recent months—from serving 45 families a week to over 80—and our resources are being stretched like never before. We need your support to ensure every family who walks through our doors can go home with nutritious food.
To meet this urgent need, we’ve launched the No Empty Plates Campaign with a fundraising goal of $50,000. Thanks to the incredible generosity of an anonymous local couple, every donation will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $50,000. That means your gift has double the impact—twice the meals, twice the support, twice the hope for families in our community.
Every action counts—and right now, every dollar becomes two.
Together, we can ensure there are truly No Empty Plates in our community.

WINTER PIPE PROTECTION TIPS

It's going to be very, very cold for the next few days, here are a few tips to help from freezing pipes:

- Open Cabinet Doors: Especially under sinks in kitchens and bathrooms to let warm air circulate around pipes.
- Let Faucets Drip: A slow drip from the cold water tap keeps water moving and helps prevent freezing.
- Insulate Pipes: Use foam pipe insulation for exposed pipes in unheated areas like basements, attics, and garages.
- Seal Leaks: Close gaps around windows, doors, and foundations to keep cold air out.
- Keep Thermostat Consistent: Don’t lower the heat drastically at night—keep it steady to protect pipes.
- Know Your Shut-Off Valve: In case of a pipe burst, you’ll want to shut off water quickly.
