Jack Edwin Lower, Robyn Ramsey’s father, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025.
A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 15 at Sublette Christian Church. Interment will follow at Banner Cemetery south of Sublette.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, or Park Place Christian Church food bank, in care of Weeks Family Funeral Home & Crematory, P.O. Box 1200, Sublette, KS 67877.

Brian Nunnery, well known to the area, passed from this life Monday, July 7, 2025 at his home in Lamar with his family by his side.
A celebration of life for Brian is planned for 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 14 at the Peacock Family Chapel located at 209 South Fourth Street in Lamar. Interment will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation for Brian will be Monday, July 14 from 9:00 until the time of service also at the Peacock Family Chapel.

Janet Lynn Kilgore passed away peacefully Saturday, June 14, 2025.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor Saturday, June 21 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Stevens County Memorial Hall, located at 200 E 6th St, Hugoton. Cremation entrusted by Robson Funeral Home.

The countdown is on and tomorrow is the cutoff date to register and get your tickets for the all school reunion. Numbers are starting to accumulate – 40’s we have 2!, the fifties we have 27 plus, the sixties there are 83, the seventies – 94, the eighties – 20, the nineties – 18, the 2000s -15. Children are stepping up to bring their parent/s for a time to spend with classmates and friends that they grew up with, went to school with, and graduated with. There are people coming in from Washington state, California, Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico so if you are dragging your feet – get on the wagon and get those registrations in! Everything is pay in advance – no exceptions – they have to give the cook numbers to buy supplies. Don’t miss out – get registered.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be the following day, Friday, June 13 at 5:00 p.m. at Bethel Friends Church.
