The Hummelstown Police Department is looking for participants for the the annual National Night Out event …

The Hummelstown Borough Police Department would like to invite your business to participate in this year’s National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 5th, 2025, from 7pm until 9pm at Schaffner Park in Hummelstown. (Borough Park)

National Night Out was first held in 1984 with the simple request of illuminating front lights and to keep a vigil on the front porch to promote crime prevention and community unity. It has grown exponentially over the years to include block parties, parades, cookouts, and festivals.

There are several ways that you can participate in this event. You can host a table and represent your business; you can donate gift cards, merchandise, or other items that we will raffle off during the event or you can donate food and/or drinks. Monetary donations are also appreciated; this will help fund future N.N.O. events. This event is entirely free for all participants and is a fantastic opportunity for businesses and community members to meet with their local police department and other first responders. This is also a great way to advertise your business or organization for free!

Registration - If you wish to participate, please contact me at your earliest convenience at (717)566-2555 or by email at [email protected] and [email protected]. I look forward to hearing from you!

Thank-you,

Sincerely,
