Some team members drive Jeeps. Some ride sh***un. Some just make sure nobody raids the snack supply.

Pico may not turn a wrench, spot obstacles, or call out trail lines, but he's always on station when it's time to head outside.

The older I get, the more I appreciate loyal companions. They don't care what you drive, where you've been, or how rough the trail gets. They're just happy to be part of the adventure.

🇺🇸 Freedom isn't found on paved roads.
It's found on mountain tops, dirt trails, campfires, and in the company of good people who still love this country.

As America celebrates 250 years, we're grateful for the freedom to explore it.

Happy 250th Birthday, America.

A garage isn't a building. It's a sanctuary where broken things and sometimes broken people get rebuilt.

I sent this quote to a few friends today.

One of the responses reminded me why garages matter.

A garage isn't just where we work on Jeeps, trucks, motorcycles, or projects.

For a lot of us, it's where we go when life gets heavy.

It's where we think.
It's where we heal.
It's where we rebuild.

Keep moving forward, Rangers.

Public land access matters.

A legal battle is underway in Utah over several historic roads and trails that have been used by the public for generations. After a change in private ownership, access to some of these routes has been restricted, leading to a court fight over whether they remain public roads.

Whether you enjoy overlanding, off-roading, hunting, hiking, camping, or simply exploring the backcountry, cases like this can have far-reaching impacts on access across the West.

This isn't about creating new trails. It's about protecting access to routes that have connected people to public lands for decades.

Recon Rangers supports responsible recreation, stewardship of our public lands, and preserving access for future generations.

What are your thoughts on public access rights when historic roads cross private property?

The motorized community does the work to keep trails open, and the Forest Service wants to see that effort on National Trails Day. BRC met with Forest Service leadership this week and came away knowing the agency believes off-roaders belong on public lands. Get out this Saturday, June 6, document wh...
