We are a group of Orthodox Christians who are striving to share with the world the Beauty of Christ and the life of the Church through writing and art, as well as documentaries. Our approach to sharing the Orthodox Faith differs greatly from other Orthodox groups, not implying that one model is better than another. Our vision and purpose was greatly inspired from the phrase “come and see”. This te

rm is taken from the Gospel of John 1:46 and is used quite often in the Church, especially to those inquiring about the faith. The Church and Her Traditions are alive, and cannot merely be understood from theological texts or discussion alone. For one to truly understand the Life of the Church and what it is to be Orthodox they must “come and see”, and be a partakers of Her Beautiful Mysteries. Given that theory, rather than merely teach about Faith we propose to simply show it, to allow people to see even if they are not yet ready to come. Every article, documentary, or piece of art we produce has but one purpose, to show, the Life of the Church, through the lives of the individuals that are a part of Her.

Forgiveness Sunday is upon us, marking the beginning of the season of repentance, suffering, fasting, loving all, and emptying ourselves through this Lenten season that we may be filled through the Glorious Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ on the feast of Pascha. I ask all of you to forgive me a sinner. I have lived this year serving only myself, thinking only of myself, and greatly sinned against all those who care for me. Lent is a time of preparing ones soul for death, not despairingly but with hope. We are joined forever to Christ as His Bride the Church, and in that union yes we must die as He did, but rejooce! Because death no longer has power for those united in Christ, He has trampled down death by death and granted us a new life Resurrected in Glory, where deaths sting is nevermore. As we enter this time in the desert remember Christ has gone before us and cleared a path. Blessed Lent, forgive me a sinner...Seraphim
