Today, we shine a spotlight on Mr. Gonzalez, who has been a teacher at HP for five years and has held various roles since 2008, bringing his total years at HP 17 years.
A graduate of Cal State Long Beach, Mr. Gonzalez earned his degree in math. Though teaching wasn’t his initial dream, he was inspired by a high school math teacher who encouraged him to improve academically. Motivated by that experience, he now strives to do the same for his own students.
Outside of the classroom, Mr. Gonzalez enjoys golfing and cherishes time with his family and children.
His goals include continuous learning and improving as a teacher. He takes great pride in watching his students grow, both personally and academically.
