Your Wild, Wonderful Wednesday tune for the Week. That's right, the new Tyler Childers is out now, & it is smokin' hot. With Rick Rubin at the helm, how could it not be? Great to hear that raw, rockin' natural drum sound of Rod Elkins, some nasty guitar pickin' from, I presume, Jesse Wells & James Barker, & Craig Burletic has me bopping my head to the beat & his bass. Tyler continues to defy Nashville by being more country than country radio & naturally more rockin' than it tries to be.

Ok, Ozzy fans. This is an odd one... After the break-up of Bad Company, drummer Simon Kirke joined a band called Wildlife w/the Overland brothers & bassist Phil Soussan who went on to play with the Ozzman, bringing this song with him. Happy birthday, Simon; & RIP Ozzy Osbourne

Happy birthday to Gerald V. "Jerry" Casale of Devo. Not only is he one of the identifiable voices of the band, Jerry is also one of the main visual leaders. He certainly had the best moves on stage & also directed videos for the Cars, the Foo Fighters, & Soundgarden. More videos in the comments...

Side 1 of Canadian Bryan Adams's Cuts Like a Knife album, released 1-18-1983.

An incredible album: #8 on the Billboard 200; 8 of its 10 songs were released as singles; all 5 from side hit the Mainstream charts in the US; & 3 were Top 10 pop hits. The album eventually went platinum.
