BALTIMORE, CHICAGO, LOS ANGELES COMBINED! Reported 25,000+ HOMICIDES!

The Afghanistan and Iraq Wars combined reported 6,887 U.S. Military Fatalities.

When these cities, Baltimore, Chicago, and Los Angeles, have lost more lives to homicide than we did in two decades of war, it's time to ask:

Where is the urgency? Where is the help?

We need leaders who look at ALL THE DATA - not just the numbers that fit a narrative.

These cities deserve better. Governor Moore, Baltimore deserves better. Maryland deserves better. And I won't stop speaking until SAFETY is no longer controversial, it's common sense.

All 3 have said, "We don’t Need Help!"

I have recently reviewed a newsletter from Congressman Hoyer, which was sent to my email. The newsletter attributes the blame for the government shutdown to the Republicans. In response, Republicans accuse the Democrats of holding healthcare hostage. Meanwhile, I observe furloughed workers, distressed families, and a public increasingly weary of the political rhetoric.

Enough is enough! This isn't working. We need to do better.
