🛒IKEA IN HSV: The rumors may be true, after all—IKEA is expanding its footprint to the Rocket City with quiet confirmation of a lease in University Place Shopping Center.

While we have been unable to verify that an actual store is opening, we can confirm IKEA has leased the former Conn’s Home Plus next to Giga Parts + .
📍6125 University Place Dr.

📐The space leased by IKEA is only 46,000 sq ft, causing many to speculate what the Huntsville location will look like compared to Atlanta’s 366,000 sq ft store.

👀 We are currently awaiting confirmation of further details + will keep you updated as we learn more.

IKEA’s only presence in AL so far is a pick-up location in Birmingham.
