Today is our Associate Director's daughter first birthday! 🎉 Willow is celebrating her birthday by giving back at the Woodlands NICU. Thank you to all our students who donated newborn clothes and comfort items for NICU families, we appreciate you! Thank you to the amazing NICU nurses at the Woodlands for taking care of our smallest Honors student! 💕🫶

The Honors College

The Honors College is designed to attract and retain highly competent and motivated students and seeks to create an intellectual and social climate that encourages students to develop their potential both in and out of the classroom. To this end, the Honors College creates a community of scholars, wherein both students and professors interact and challenge each other in developing their abilities.

Specifically, the Honors College provides personalized instruction and mentor-ship opportunities in supporting the University's overall mission of high academic standards and community service. Graduating with Honors from Sam Houston State University provides definite advantages for students entering graduate or professional school, as well as those starting out in their chosen profession.
