A day on the reservoir!

The day was great! I didn't get a LOT of bass in the boat, but there was a good amount of learning:
Skipping lures under cover. And that was how all three of these bass were caught.

The water level was high due to recent rains. And there were quite a few small trees that were partially submerged. And THAT is where these were hiding.

The water was a bit dirty, again from the rains. So I had to drop the bait right on them.

What bait, you may ask?
I only used 1 all day: White/chartreuse chatterbait with a light shad colored trailer.

A great day on the lake with Chad Hoover.
Got 4 in the boat.
Also tried out a Bonafide Fishing PWR 129. Great kayak!
I’m looking to upgrade from my Pelican Catch Mode 110. I need a little more stability to stand confidently, and the Bonafide provided just that.
Looks like a SS127 will be my next fishing kayak!
