Are you ready for cold weather in North Alabama? 🥶

🥶EXTREME COLD!🥶
US National Weather Service Huntsville Alabama is forecasting extremely cold temperatures beginning overnight tonight and lasting through Sunday.

Temperatures will drop to well below freezing with wind chills in the single digits to single digits.

A Cold Weather Advisory will be in effect from 6pm Sunday to 6am Monday.

Nothing impacts your energy use like the outside air temperature. To control yours:

--Seal drafts
--Set ceiling fans to clockwise
--Open curtains on sun-facing windows during the day and close them at night
--Dress warm
--Allow taps to slightly drip, remove hoses from outside spigots.

Be sure to monitor local media and the National Weather Service website (weather.gov/hun) for updates.

HOME SWEET HOME: Secretary of War Pete Hegseth joined lawmakers and senior military officials to mark the official relocation of U.S. Space Command from Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, to Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

Today’s adventures took me to Madison and Limestone County! I started looking at new construction homes and upcoming developments—there is so much growth happening and some beautiful options for buyers heading into the new year.

This afternoon, I completed a builder walk-through (blue-tape inspection) for a first-time buyer, helping out one of our agents at EXIT Rocket City Realty. We truly support each other at our brokerage. Yes… I absolutely go to closings, inspections, and showings for other agents when needed—and they’ve done the same for me. I really do love my EXIT Realty family!

And for anyone considering a move… now is a great time. This particular home even includes the fridge, washer, dryer, and blinds—a huge bonus for first-time buyers.
