So freaking proud of this guy!! Code 3 Health and Fitness exists because during his weeks-long hospital stay in 2021, Allen Lude focused himself on continuing to progress in any way he could. While recovering from multiple surgeries, he studied personal training, earned multiple certifications, and began planning. The original Code 3 gym opened in Winfield in 2022, quickly grew, and the first expansion was needed. Since it was a single building in Winfield, expanding meant moving to Nitro.
The Nitro location is in one suite of a strip, and there has been an empty suite next door from the start. The plan was to eventually expand into that empty suite when the time came… which was the summer of 2023.
Unfortunately, due to broken promises and delays outside of Code 3’s control, the expansion into that second suite never happened. Allen and Canyon Lude certainly tried, and over and over again they were promised deadlines that came and went.
While Code 3 would’ve loved to stay in Nitro, when your much-needed expansion has already been delayed 2 years and the space *still* isn’t ready, it’s time to go.
Allen didn’t hesitate. He found this new space in Poca, just a few minutes up the road from the Nitro location, and got to work. Now, with the help of Canyon, Chris Jividen, and a core group of dedicated members, they are getting ready to open the new location in less than a week!
The new location will offer more space, an open floor plan, a lot more parking, and even a shower! 🚿
