❗Town Clerk’s Office Notice - Annual Census Update❗

The Town Clerk’s Office has identified that the Annual Census does not include household member names.

Action Required:

➡Please write in the names of all current residents.

➡Note any changes from last year and highlight them if possible.

➡Sign and return the completed census to the Clerk’s Office.

Voter status remains unchanged. If you would like confirmation, contact the Clerk’s Office at 508-862-4044.

As a reminder, Town of Barnstable offices and the Transfer Station are closed on Thursday, December 25th in observance of the Christmas holiday. 🚫

Their normal hours of operation will resume on Friday December 26th. ✅

A week ago today, the Barnstable Fire Department held their ground-breaking ceremony for the new station that is being built off of Phinney's Lane. 🪏

The new fire station will be a great home for the Barnstable Fire Department as they continue to provide safety for the residents & visitors within the Barnstable Fire District. 🏠 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒

📌 Winter Storm Alert: December 14, 2025 at 7:45 AM

Good morning, Barnstable. The latest forecast guidance from the National Weather Service predicts varied snowfall amounts; between 2 and 4 inches are expected but localized 5 to 6 inches are possible.

The DPW has stood up its Emergency Response Center and deployed all snowplows. Work on main roads began at midnight, as snow began accumulating. Secondary roads, within neighborhoods, are initiating their rounds now. If possible, please limit travel on the roadways.
