This past week, Barnstable's Marine & Environmental Staff held their annual shellfish volunteer appreciation event where they thank all of their volunteers for their 309 hours of work over the past year. 🦪

Volunteers are integral in helping make Barnstable's shellfishing program one of the best programs on Cape Cod! 👏

The 8th Annual Veterans Town Hall was held this morning at Barnstable's Town Hall and on the Hyannis Village Green. 🇺🇸

We are extremely grateful for each veteran that has served our great nation! 🇺🇸 🫡

Today, we remember all of the brave men and women who have served our great country. 🫡 🇺🇸

Town Offices and the Transfer Station will be closed on Tuesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day.

Their normal hours of operation will resume on Wednesday November 12th.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: Sandy Neck Beach Park

Due to construction, access to the Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) Trail will be temporarily closed as of November 12th while Gatehouse relocation and associated site work is completed.

Starting Wednesday November 12, no vehicle traffic will be allowed at Sandy Neck Beach.

Weekend ORV Access MAY be available after the Gatehouse is relocated.

No overnight parking will be permitted on the Sandy Neck Beach property.
