“God Of Glory, Lord of Love” was written by Keith Wilkerson and inspired by quotes from almost 400 year old letters of Samuel Rutherford. This beautiful song features the NGSGM choir directed by Stephen Butler with accompaniment by Nelson Bailey (piano), Rev Adam Borden (bass), and Mrs Kathi LeGrand Lamb (organ).

From the time we threw our hat in the ring as a convention songbook publisher, Stephen Butler, has been there to support and promote our initiative. Stephen is the director of The North Georgia School of Gospel Music, and a man of many other titles; but I am most proud to call him my friend. Listen as Stephen (who, by the way, was just inducted into the Georgia Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame) directs a beautiful song that he wrote, entitled “We Shall Be Like Him”, which is featured on page 102 of our 2026 book, Rejoice! Accompaniment is provided by Jonathan Dickey (piano), Rev Adam Borden(bass), and Jason Meyers (organ). Thanks, Stephen, for all you do!

I started working with these students on Tuesday to write a new song together as a class. By Friday, they were able to perform it for the closing program! “I’m Gonna Sing, I’m Gonna Shout” will be in our yet-to-be-named 2027 convention book!

“Fly” was written by NGSGM faculty member Jonathan Dickey and is featured in our 2026 book, Rejoice!, on page 74.
