Opening night under the home lights for Ty and the rest of the Broncos didn’t disappoint! Blackfoot was clicking on all cylinders and get the W vs the Pocatello Thunder.

I’ve had so many young (and even not-so-young) photographers reach out with questions—everything from camera settings to editing tricks, and even the business side of sports photography. It made me realize something: why not create a space where we can all learn, share, and grow together?

I’m thinking about starting a group for sports photographers—whether you’re just picking up a camera for the first time, or you’ve been on the sidelines for years. We could do meetups, classes, lessons, or even just casual hangouts to swap ideas and support each other.

The goal is simple: community over competition. Sports photography can feel like a solo grind, but it doesn’t have to be.

After three years trying I finally made the top 10 in the East Idaho State Fair !

Out of 10 entries I was fortunate enough to receive two first place ribbons, one third, and an honorable mention! So many phenomenal entries, not only in the professional division, but all of them! If you’re going to the fair stop by and check them all out!

Grateful for those that continue to support my photography passion and business, it’s truly what allows me to continue this journey.

Kicking off the Class of 2026 senior sessions with a familiar face I’ve had the privilege of photographing on the wrestling mat since his sophomore year.

Over time, I’ve also gotten to know his incredible family, which has been one of the best parts of what I do. With his sister heading back to college soon, I suggested we take the opportunity to grab a few family photos too—glad we did!
