With his new degree emphasis in video production, he was determined to put his skills, his passion, and his creative drive to use. His first position in video production came in early 2017, as a full time in-house media producer for an Idaho-based retail company. , in what can only be defined as a perfect storm of opportunity, Tyson found himself in an immense layoff during the 2020 Covid 19 breakout, and unemployed indefinitely. He found opportunity in this circumstance to test the waters of self-employment. Over time, this testing of the waters evolved into a full swim. Working from home transitioned into working out of an office. Working primarily for local clients evolved to include national clients and international projects. As the owner and operator of NewLine Media, Tyson is a firm proponent of the creative expression of communication, especially as it applies to the business world.
