Bobcat Company Introduces New Gas Utility Vehicles With Enhanced Performance

West Fargo, ND – Meeting the most challenging work conditions is easier with the new 2020 Bobcat UV34 and UV34XL gas utility vehicles. Featuring industry-leading specs and proven durability, the new UV34 and UV34XL gas machines deliver reliable performance and productivity with gas-engine convenience.

These UV34 and UV34XL gas models have an all-new chassis for increased durability and ride quality, an enhanced suspension system, increased towing capacity, a new gas engine and more integrated accessories.

High Performance, Power
Operators can stay equipped for any situation with the new UV34 and UV34XL gas utility vehicles. They can carry more equipment, bring more help along for the job and save hours of manual labor. A newly designed 39.9 hp two-cylinder SOHC engine delivers generous horsepower and hard-working performance. Operators will experience more power than ever before and the large, 900-watt stator offers increased output for electric-powered attachments.

Improved Ride Quality, Comfort
The new UV34 and UV34XL gas utility vehicles are designed with an all-new chassis that gives operators additional comfort, strength and performance for the job. The chassis design improves ground clearance and off-road capability while allowing more range of motion in the suspension for superior ride quality—a feature further enhanced with added seat contours that are designed for maximum comfort and support during operation. Bobcat UV34 utility vehicles offer seating for an operator and two passengers, while the extended UV34XL has room for an operator and five passengers.

With more material added to the frame, suspension components, wheel hubs and sealed wheel bearings, Bobcat UV34 and UV34XL utility vehicles offer heightened durability. An independent rear suspension with sway bar provides improved ride quality and handling. All-new shocks and springs, plus stronger drive components push through challenging jobs, boosting operator productivity without sacrificing ride quality.

Improved ride quality is also a focus of the new cab design featuring a low, wide cab opening that allows for easy entry and exit. Updated instrumentation throughout the cab makes operation more intuitive, while larger controls and gauges improve visibility and ease of use. Improved sealing on the optional enclosed cab keeps operators and interior alike shielded from dust and debris, and it ensures optimal heating performance. More in-dash storage was added to the new cab design along with a flip-up seat for stowaway convenience of larger items.

Work-Focused Hauling, Towing
The UV34 and UV34XL utility vehicles are designed with a rugged cargo box that leads the industry in size and payload capacity. The greater payload capacity allows operators to haul more, and in turn, maximize time on a jobsite, farm, acreage or grounds maintenance project. The large cargo box can be emptied manually or with an optional powered cargo box lift.

Bobcat UV34 utility vehicles can carry up to 1,250 lbs. The 2-inch receiver hitch on Bobcat utility vehicles can easily tow up to 2,500 lbs. of trailered equipment and materials.

Accessories
The new Bobcat utility vehicles can be customized with a variety of kits and accessories, including LED working lights, radio, brush guard and in-cab heater, cargo box divider and a lockable tool box. A complete list of approved kits and accessories is available on Bobcat.com.

BRP Announces 90-Day Warranty Extension For All Its Powersports Products

Valcourt, Quebec – BRP Inc. has decided to make the current period a little more bearable by announcing a 90-day extension to all of its manufacturer limited warranty, expiring between March 15 and June 30, 2020, across all its powersports product lines (Ski-Doo, Lynx, Sea-Doo and Can-Am).

This initiative is an indication of BRP’s commitment to deliver an exceptional customer experience, even during these challenging times, and is part of the recent “Together, We Ride” project which is a reminder that tough times require new responses. Since some BRP dealers have temporarily closed or are partially open, BRP wanted to ensure its customers can fully benefit from their warranty.

″In the current context, people already have a lot of other things on their mind,” Delton Bohlman, Vice-President, Global Customer Services Parts & Accessories at BRP, said. “We didn’t want their warranties running out to be one of them, especially with reduced service department capacity. We wanted to make sure we make things as easy as we can by being the first OEM in North America to offer a 90-day warranty extension on all our powersports products. Together, We Ride is not just a catchphrase for us: we are all in this together and we need to do our part to help each other get through it.”

Customers who qualify do not need to take any action to be included in the warranty extension program, they will be automatically prolonged.

The 90-day extension applies to all limited warranties and B.E.S.T. extended service coverage which are set to expire between March 15 and June 30, 2020.

Be Kind To The Land, Other Users, Private Property While Off Roading In The Owyhees

A record number of off-road riders are hitting the Owyhee Mountains in southwest Idaho to get outdoors and the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation and its partners would like to remind users to recreate responsibly while having fun.

In recent weeks, a few visitors have left trash, defaced restrooms and damaged private property while riding the backcountry.

The majority of riders are responsible but the actions of a careless few can tarnish the experience for everyone—and put access for all at risk.

The IDPR urges riders to continue to enjoy the outdoors but to do so respectfully, leaving no trace whenever possible and being mindful of other users. Set the right example while riding and please:
• Stay off of closed, muddy roads, which are susceptible to rutting this early in the season.
• Avoid damp areas and keep to established trails.
• Leave no trash when you visit to preserve the experience for others.
• Respect private property and stay away from livestock equipment.

Idaho State Parks joins the Owyhee County Commission, the Idaho Farm Bureau Federation, the Idaho State ATV Association, the Treasure Valley Trail Machine Association, Idaho Off-Road 4x4 Club, High Desert Off Road 4X4 Club and the Southern Idaho Desert Racing Association in urging riders to be responsible.
