GARY:
"What the hell?"
Mr. Dragon takes a swing at him, but Gary manages to dodge, falling backwards and spilling scalpels and disinfectants onto the floor. This sequence is more of a chase than a fight as Gary utilizes almost everything in the basement to try and stay alive.
He runs as far away as he can, but once he reaches the shelves filled with canopic jars, he realizes that he doesn’t know the way out—and the adrenaline pounding through his veins is making him stupid. He needs to buy some time. He starts to grab the jars of blood and pitches them at his attacker. Mr. Dragon swats them out of the air easily, creating bright crimson swaths SPLATTERING the floor, walls, and everything else as they SHATTER. He continues to throw them until Mr. Dragon is less than five feet away. The final throw splashes Gary’s feet and he slips, landing on his back. Mr. Dragon moves to stomp his skull, but he’s able to roll out of the way at the last second.
In a combination of sliding, crawling, and ice-skating Gary retreats to the center of the room where the rows of boxes are. He brushes past one of them activating its locking mechanism. It opens up to reveal a chainsaw modified for shredding meat and bone. Gary grabs it, struggles with its weight, yanks the cord, and it GROWLS ready to be fed.
