Ever since I was little, confidence was never something I had. As my vision has worsened, that confidence is significantly lower. Even going to someone’s house for a social event is stressful and I have a hard time feeling like myself.
With that being said, I’m very grateful for everything I have and everyone who has ever helped me in any way. Do I wish I had perfect vision? Of course. But I wouldn’t trade any other aspect of my life to have perfect vision. I have a hard time accepting that I won’t get to have experiences like a lot of people do, but I realize I have more than most.
