We're on the other side of the year from our anniversary, but we wanted to start talking about it now...
October 17, 2025, we're making a big change to the Scenic Route. Of course, we love New Age, and Classical Crossover. We'll be keeping the most beautiful New Age music in the mix, select and hand chosen, however we'll be discontinuing our selection of Classical Crossover.
Our music base will be soft Smooth Jazz, plus the most peaceful piano music, with a dash of New Age music.
When we say soft Smooth Jazz, nothing too upbeat, highlighting the trumpet and the saxaphone...
When we say peaceful piano, those tracks that bring you healing and hope.
Our hope, is that our mix is every bit as a chance to reflect as it is to be energized...
We'll see you in 6 months, but for now, nothing changes...

For all practical purposes, its April Fools! But we're not gonna fool you here...
Right about 2009 or 2010, Smooth Jazz on terrestrial radio fell off of a cliff. Of course, other formats were profitable, and tastes changed, we understand that.
But recently at a gathering of the best in radio, the idea was pitched to bring back smooth jazz to the radio. We were initially excited and intrigued by the idea, but just the idea.
The idea went sideways from there. Talking of jazz as if it hadn't "evolved" enough, the man presenting the idea that they bring back something to the radio similar to what was done in New York, with CD101.9. The ONE big difference is that it would have an "evolved" look and feel. "We could include other smooth formats into smooth jazz, smooth pop, maybe rock, even some country. Those are respectable formats in their own right, but of course they aren't jazz.
We've watched closely the huge following smooth jazz, that plays jazz, has gathered online. The genre is an integral part of who we are, so we're announcing that we'll continue highlighting the best smooth jazz, soft jazz, light jazz, whatever you want to call it, it'll be here!
We still believe in the saxaphone, the trumpet, the sound that makes jazz what it is, nothing that country can do, nothing that pop or rock can do.
Some ideas can be pitched, but smooth jazz was also an idea, until it became a mainstay, and now stands the test of time...

Hey guys, it's been a long while since I've posted here, but Happy New Years! Today is the first day of 2023, and in the first week of this year, I'll add a lot more music to the lineup.
Also a notable change this year, on November 15th, we're bringing a 40 day program over from our previous sister station Truth Radio who signed off last night, it's called "Reason for the Season". The reason for Christmas isn't necessarily the gifts, or the lights, or the snow, or anything else like that, it's Jesus Christ. He'll be the focus of the Christmas season, in 10.5 months from now.
But for now, coming up Valentine's Day, we'll have our regular music mix, as all our love songs are being poured into our new station "Elizabeth FM" which debuts fully January 2nd at 7pm, but is now streaming at Truth Radio's old site.
We also keep Halloween a fun and festive day in 10 months or so.
New music includes Jim Chappell, Tim Janis, and more, it's on the way soon.
