Clarke was part of three instrumental acts of the era: The Byrds, The Flying Burrito Brothers, and Firefall. We'll hear from all three, plus The Grateful Dead, Poco, Pure Prairie League, and others. Chris opens The KSUT Vault to start the night with a couple of songs from a KSUT Session that David Bromberg did back in 2008. Along the way, Chris gets ready for the Colorado sesquicentennial by featuring Centennial State musicians and bands such as C.W. McCall, Genuine Cowhide, Halden Wofford & The Hi*Beams, and others. It all gets rolling at 7 p.m. when Chris opens the KSUT Vault for a couple of tunes that singer/songwriter Thom Chacon performed at a KSUT Session back in 2024. From headliners like Old Crow Medicine Show, Yonder Mountain String Band and Keller & The Keels to regional favorites Magoo, Floodgate Operators and Liver Down the River to local acts like Six Dollar String Band, Alex Graf and People We Know, he’ll cover all the bases.
