What Do We Do When We Let Someone Down?
We’ve all failed someone. We’ve all disappointed someone. But God shows us exactly how to process it, heal from it, and walk forward in grace.
✔ We reflect (Lamentations 3:40, Romans 3:23)
✔ We refuse condemnation (Romans 8:1, Isaiah 43:18–19)
✔ We confess honestly (Proverbs 28:13, Proverbs 12:22, John 8:22)
✔ We accept God’s forgiveness (1 John 1:9, Isaiah 43:25)
✔ We extend grace to ourselves and others (Psalm 18:30, Proverbs 30:5)
✔ We let go of the past (Philippians 3:13–14, Ephesians 4:31–32)
✔ We guard our promises (Matthew 5:37)
✔ We stay humble (Romans 12:3)
✔ We believe in restoration (2 Corinthians 5:17)
✔ We grow from trials (Proverbs 2:6, James 1:2–5, Psalm 119:71)
✔ We stay connected to God’s people (1 Thessalonians 5:11, Hebrews 10:24–25, Psalm 92:12–13)
God has forgiven you. He is your shield, your refuge, and your rest.
Let go of what’s behind and press toward what’s ahead.
