Last night I breathed life into the City. The great Meet the Candidates event was a huge success. Being the outsider had its benefits. Overlooked and underestimated, I sent a message that came directly from within without hesitation and without notes and landed it perfectly with the people. I set a clear boundary from the reckless Home Not Hotels groupthink and the real priorities and demands of the city. While some spin untenable fantasies as commonly accepted goals or throw the kitchen sink about all their life achievements, I just spoke with calm confidence. The City needs leaders who aren’t fearful of choosing right over popular. The City needs leaders who are present and available to the people Not hiding behind a pulpit. The City needs a leader who is going to fight to make IRB welcoming to full timers, visitors and businesses Not demonizing so many who contribute so much only because they don’t homestead here.

Today democracy and free elections came under attack.

A rabid disciple of the anti-visitor, anti-snowbird, anti-part-time resident, anti-business crowd smothered dog p**p on my election sign.

This is a cowardice attack on free speech and voter intimidation.

Being the only outsider in this City Commission election, they want me running scared. They want my voice and vision for a unified IRB that celebrates living, working and visiting this great little beach town so they can implement their ONE-PARTY RULE over everyone. Stripping you of property rights and keeping the city at war with the very people who love and support it.

Most importantly, they want your voice silenced. I'm not going to let them. No amount of s**t throwing at me or my signs is going to stop my message.

IRB deserves to be a destination where full-time residents, visitors, part-time residents, investors and business owners can all thrive equally. HNH wants us divided. They want us perpetual war to usher in their grand utopia where no one but a few can be part of IRB's future.

I need your support more than ever.
I need my signs in your yards showing you aren't aligned with their distasteful HNH signs and demagoguery.

I need you telling your friends and neighbors that unity is better than war.

And I need you to believe in me. I'm never quitting this fight. IRB deserves to be a great and welcoming beach town and I intend to fight everyday for it.
