HEADS UP! We're taking this show to Indiana Mall !
Due to the rainy forecast, the fine folks at the Mall are putting a roof over our heads. The Mall is located at 2334 Oakland Avenue, moments from downtown Indiana.
Parking is free and, of course, admission to the 2026 Delaney Chevrolet Westsylvania Jazz and Blues Festival and Westsylvania Arts Fest remains free courtesy of our sponsors and partners.

The Pittsburgh Tribune Review just ran this nice profile of our friends over at Allegheny Front! We've carried the show for many years and over the summer, you can hear new episodes every Monday at 10:30am, with an encore presentation the following Sunday at 8:30 am.

But in the leadup, the College Radio Foundation has pulled together a special webstream featuring college radio DJs from across the country -- including WIUP!

Our special hour streams Thursday at 9pm ET over at www.wvyl.org.

Not only is Dave a WIUP alum, but he and Backstreet have been great friends and supporters of the station over the years. We are so stoked to have Backstreet Records back in Indiana, and just a few hops away from our Davis Hall studios to boot! Shop local, go check them out at Campus Edge!

After leaving Indiana for a location in Punxsutawney, Backstreet Records is moving back to Indiana.

Update: “The library is happy to welcome people to warm up, but please note, our board and admin have made the decision to close the library on Monday 1/26 for the safety of our staff. We recognize people will need warmth Monday, but we won't be open, unfortunately.

We WILL be open Saturday 1/24 from 10 AM until 5 PM, closed Sunday as usual, and then plan to reopen Tuesday regular hours (10 AM to 6 PM)

I know that's a lot of info, but I'd hate to see people come to the library for warmth on Sunday or Monday and find us closed. Again, we will be open Saturday from 10 to 5 and plan to reopen Tuesday. “
