After midnight, in the early morning hours of April 5, 1990, someone forced open the sliding doors of Jenny Zitricki's Greenville, South Carolina apartment. They went inside and brutally murdered Jenny. The Greenville Police Department worked the investigation for years. The case passed on to Lt. Tim Conroy.

We interviewed Lt. Conroy about his work on this case, the collaborative effort between police agencies in different states, finding answers through genetic geneaology, and the case’s recently-discovered link to the infamous 1991 Austin yogurt shop murders.
