Congratulations to Jo Koy

The truth was that no stand up comic wants to host it even Chris Rock turned it down.

But Jokoy accepted it with 10 days left.

He did well, its just that its hard to be a celebrity in front of the celebrities. That’s why comedians are scared except our own. Adding to the fact that he is a new face for a lot of them, but he showed up!

Using the same joke to non celebrities could have been really great and funny. So his preparation was enough and great.

Would he just stand there and be just a normal emcee (without punchlines) to avoid flaps?

If that’s just the case, then why hire a comedian? So he had no choice but to try to crack jokes and be Jokoy.

You have LapuLapu’s blood in you Jokoy.

Accepting the task in the very first place displays your Filipino courage.

Reminds us that we need to face our own Goliaths too, just like you.
