Do you know who you're talking to when you create your social media posts?
Are you just throwing things at the wall and seeing what sticks?
Yeah, so was I. Hoping that something resonates with somebody, somewhere only to be reminded that "when you speak to everyone, you're speaking to no one."
What? What are you talking about?
Well, if you're just creating content for everyone, trying to please everyone, hoping that someone, anyone will buy your products or show interest in your services, how will the right people find you?
They won't.
And that used to be me.
But now, my vision is clear.
Here's what I know now:
Who I serve:
Black women entrepreneurs and small business owners with big dreams and modest budgets.
Why I serve:
While black women are the fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs, growing side hustles to thriving businesses, we are also the most burned out. Wearing all the hats is time-consuming, and mentally and physically draining.
How I serve:
Being a social media specialist who also provides back-end administrative tasks.
That's where it starts.
You have to know your who, why, and how.
Once you get those 3 in order, you can move to the next stage.
