Ever since I can remember, I have loved to tell stories. What better way to tell a story than through photo and video? Capturing a smile, a special moment or an event provides an opportunity for the subjects to relive and share their experience. Photography has always been my passion, but I have made a living in video. After studying broadcast journalism at Illinois State University, I started my

career in Central Illinois – creating commercials and on-air promotions for local television affiliates. From 2008 – 2012, I had an incredible opportunity with a marketing agency, working for clients such as McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, and Southern Comfort. My position allowed me to utilize my education and mix in my obsession with photography. Currently, I work for an innovation agency and I am once again utilizing my skills, maximizing my potential and accepting new challenges daily. Throughout my career, talented friends and great mentors have surrounded me. I have been fortunate to wake up every day never feeling like I was going to work. The combination of my professional experience, personality and passion has given me a unique perspective from behind the lens. Over the years, I have traveled the country capturing client-sponsored events, wedding, and work shops. It is a combination of work and life that inspires me to keep snapping the shutter. In downtown Indy, we have an incredible memorial dedicated to the lives lost on September 11, 2001. If you find yourself in the area it is a great opportunity to reflect and also educate the younger generations on the events of that tragic day in our history. Sometimes you just need some light rays.

The has become a family tradition. We bike through the grounds as they setup, visit multiple times during the two week run and bike through as they tear down. Having gone so many years in a row, it is fun to see the evolution. New permanent installments, different themes and rotating acts make it a different experience every year. I am convinced my boys first jobs will be at the Indianapolis State Fair. Looking forward to next year.
