Sometimes children don’t need us to make every decision for them. They need little opportunities to learn how to choose, make mistakes, and understand that when you have a limit, you can’t have everything you want. ❤️
But let me tell you… watching a 5-year-old make a ₦5,000 decision is a serious exercise in patience. 😂😂

Apparently, I’ve been living a very interesting life according to my 5yrs old. 😂😂

I sat down with Paris and asked her a very simple question:

“What do you think Mummy does all morning?”

And honestly… I was NOT prepared for her answer. 😂

It made me realize that children are watching us more than we think. They may not understand everything we do, but they definitely have their own little version of who we are and what our lives look like.

So I’m starting something new:

💕 5 MINUTES WITH PARIS 💕

Just me and my little girl having honest, funny, sometimes surprisingly deep conversations about life through her 5-year-old eyes.

And I want YOU to be part of it.

Mums, ask your children this same question: “What do you think Mummy does all morning?” 😂

Some mornings, I don’t want motivation.
I just want quiet. 😌

Before the house gets loud, before the responsibilities begin, before everybody needs something from me… I’ve learned to give myself a few moments too.
For the longest time, I thought a good woman was supposed to always come last.
Now I’m learning that taking care of myself doesn’t make me selfish. It makes me human.

So this morning, I slowed down.
I made my bed.
I took my time.
I breathed.
And honestly? These little moments mean more to me than I can explain.
Because sometimes being a woman isn’t about doing MORE.
Sometimes it’s about remembering who you were before everyone needed you and making room for her again.

To every mum reading this: when was the last time you had a morning that was just for YOU?
