"When we stop believing other people are the villain in our story, we stop trying to defeat them. We begin to look for ways to fight the real villain. Prayer is one of our biggest and most effective weapons. God has provided us a whole suit of spiritual armor for the battles we face. See Ephesians 6:12–18" (Lora Avery).

"Master Minded Ministries’ commitment to building bridges extends beyond the Christian-Jewish dialogue. They have also supported educational and outreach initiatives, including taking students on biblical study tours and donating to local synagogues. This hands-on, community-focused approach demonstrates that 'love and support' for the Jewish people is not just a theological idea but a practical and actionable expression of faith" (John McGee).

"The ultimate purpose of the believer’s life is to reflect Christ in this world. One of the most profound ways this happens is when believers, across cultures and generations, proclaim Christ not in their strength but in their weakness. Such testimonies become a living witness, inviting others to encounter the same grace and power of the risen Lord that we as believers have experienced and are experiencing" (Jason Shawa).

"It’s a lifestyle, welcoming the Holy Spirit into our lives every day and doing all we can to follow our Lord. We’re supposed to be like Jesus, after all — not just worship Him. We’re supposed to be witnesses to the hope that is within us, testifying through how we live what a saved life looks like, not just preaching salvation and telling others to repent. This is the meaning behind the saying (often attributed to Saint Francis of Assisi) that we should 'preach the gospel at all times, and when absolutely necessary to use words'" (Bruce N. G. Cromwell).

"As a practicing Free Methodist, the challenge of love-driven justice pierces my heart and soul. How can the church actually practice serving those with the drive of love-driven justice compelling our actions? It is very easy to outsource to 'experts' around us (government, nonprofits, medical professionals…), but what about us? What can we do? Do we really see that others possess the very image of the Creator God?" (Jason Shawa).

"God can and does redeem even the worst. That never makes the worst good — it means the crucified and risen One wastes nothing. In spaces around the world, this week: ordinary believers are staying in hard places with holy patience until hope catches fire. Don’t rush the doorway pain has opened. Walk through it with them — slowly, gently, faithfully. Watch Jesus meet you both there" (Ron Kuest).

"To keep a house in good order, repairs must be made as need requires. To keep wealth, one must be acquiring wealth. To keep learning, one must be adding to one’s store of learning, and, to keep holiness, one must be steadily 'perfecting holiness out of reverence for God' (2 Corinthians 7:1)" (B.T. Roberts).

"[John] Wesley contrasts, when a person is of God, that is 'born of the Spirit, how is the manner of his existence changed! His whole soul is now sensible of God. … The Spirit or breath of God is immediately inspired, breathed into the new-born soul; and the same breath which comes from, returns to God. As it is continually received by faith, so it is continually rendered back by love, by prayer, and praise, and thanksgiving — love and praise and prayer being the breath of every soul which is truly born of God. And by this new kind of spiritual respiration, spiritual life is not only sustained but increased day by day, together with spiritual strength and motion and sensation; all the senses of the soul being now awake, and capable of "discerning" spiritual "good and evil'" (Daniel Castelo).

"In a beautiful section of the sermon, Wesley elaborates that this change is 'wrought in the soul by the operating of the Holy Ghost, [it is] a change in the whole manner of our existence; for from the moment we are "born of God" we live in quite another manner than we did before; we are, as it were, in another world'" (Daniel Castelo).

"I am ... an experiential educator with a strong affinity for the idea that knowledge is validated through experience, something John Wesley articulated in many of his writings. Wesley’s ideas were later organized into a theological framework known today as the 'Wesleyan Quadrilateral,' which illustrates Wesley’s understanding of how reason, tradition, experience, and Scripture interact to shape our understanding of God and internalize the truth of Scripture" (Rachael Botting).
