Congratulations to Toby Harris on winning the 2026 National Diplomacy Masters! Toby traveled to Las Vegas all the way from Droitwich, UK to claim this year's Diplomacy tournament. Toby won the event with board tops as Turkey in Round 1 and Russia in Round 3; He also finished 2nd in Round 2 as England. Joining him on the Top Board was Cyrille Sevin (France), Robert Zahn (Ohio), Nick Benedict (California), Gregory Vaughn (Illinois), Jack Brawner (Florida), Dan McNeill (Florida), and Richard Sweat (Texas). For winning the National Diplomacy Masters this year, Toby will receive a "Stay & Play" package to next year's World Series of Board Gaming, giving him a free hotel room and convention pass.

Hi Everyone! I have one spoiler to share from the A&A tournaments at Gen Con and I am hoping it is the only one we see before we get a chance to share the videos with everyone! 🤟🙏

Doug Thorpe, my ride or die A&A partner for the past three years, wasn't able to attend Gen Con this year. Everyone is ok, but he had some urgent family business that required his full attention. Of course, we were sad he wasn't able to join us, but we completely understand. All of Board Game Nation wishes Doug and his family the very best.

In his absence, I was very grateful to be able to lean on one of BGN's Commanders from Gary & Doug vs the World! Mr. Charles Hall (aka Warriorpoet) flew to Gen Con from SOUTH AFRICA to compete in the event! Lucky for me, he didn't have a partner.

Thank you, Charles for jumping into the fire with me!

Tune into the upcoming videos to see how we did! Doug will definitely be joining us for the BGN videos. No doubt that he will have more than a little say about my play! 😅
