Statewide IREAD passing rates rebounded to match pre-pandemic rates. Much farther to go but an important step forward, especially in light of proving Indiana's deep investments in third grade literacy actually made a difference.

The piece the state did not release that I'm curious to see is just how many kids were retained this year. That's likely the bad news. But we need to know that too, hopefully sooner rather than later.
