Metro Ministries, Inc. provides the connection of resources to ministries and ministries to resources within Central Indiana.

Metro Ministries, Inc., founded in 1923, is an Outreach ministry which partners with United Methodist churches and mission- driven organizations to provide "seed grants" for innovative, transformative programs to provide hope to our neighbors in need. As the outreach arm of the Central District of Indiana United Methodist Churches, Metro connects, communicates and collaborates with church leaders

and members to meet needs in Central Indiana communities. Through the direction of the Metro Ministries, Inc. Board of Directors, Patty Fisher, the Executive Director, is making relationships with individuals, churches, and community organizations, inviting "what if?" thinking about how we can individually and collectively serve our neighbors.

💜🥫 THE SCOTT UMC OUTDOOR PANTRY IS NOW OPEN! 🥫💜

We are excited to announce that our new 24/7 Outdoor Food Pantry is officially open and available to our community!

This ministry was made possible in part through the generous support of Metro Ministries, Inc.. We are deeply grateful for their grant investment, which helped turn this vision into reality.

We recognize that food pantries are a short-term response to a long-standing issue. We pray for the day when justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream—when every family has access to healthy food, living wages, affordable housing, and the resources needed to thrive.

Until that day comes, we remain committed to tending to the needs of our neighbors and addressing food insecurity with compassion, dignity, and love.

🥕 Also join us every Thursday at 4:00 PM for our Outdoor Veggie Table, where we provide free organic vegetables to the community. (Partnership with Noblesville First UMC’s TETER FARM)

A few pictures from Annual Conference.
I had the honor to present info about Metro Ministries grant program at the ECHD luncheon on Thursday. Thank you Pastor Elizabeth Gilbert for that invitation.
I met and spoke with many folks. Many signed up to receive Wednesday Words, and to have Zoom meetings so they and their teams can learn and partner with Metro Ministries. I think my good candy helped 😜
