This one was a grind from the start — including a long ruck in with packs pushing 40+ lbs before rifles even went in. I shot Individual Gas Gun, while Justin teamed up with Danny Duke in Team Division running a bolt gun primary / 5.56 gas gun secondary setup. We also had Loren and David out there shooting individual divisions.

The match flowed really well overall and had a lot of things we enjoyed:
• Unlimited stages gave room to actually work problems
• Limited stages only required 5 hits per shooter, so hit management mattered
• Pistol integration added another layer to the match
• Stages rewarded creativity — use whatever position works as long as you stay in the shooting area

Wind was definitely a factor, and the 5.56 struggled on a few stages at distance, but that’s part of the game.
