The Odds On Next Year's Super Bowl Halftime Performer

A financial exchange called Kalshi thinks Jay-Z is the odds-on favorite to headline the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Out of almost two dozen possibilities, he has a 28% chance of getting the gig.

Or, to be more accurate . . . of GIVING HIMSELF the gig, since it's basically his call.

Jay is followed by Post Malone at 25%, Miley Cyrus at 23%, Bad Bunny at 14%, and Metallica at 13%.

Further down the list are Morgan Wallen, Dua Lipa, Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, Drake, Billie Eilish, and the Foo Fighters.

Is This Acceptable Now? An Intern Called Off Work Because Her Energy Felt a Little Off

What would your boss say if you sent them this email? Someone who works at an A.I. startup posted a screenshot on Reddit after a Gen Z intern called off work . . . because her "energy [felt] a little off."

It was a last-minute request . . . or, not even a request. She just sort of TOLD her boss it was happening.

Quote, "Feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the work, and my energy feels a little off, so not getting that vibe." (???)

She said she'd be out July 28th to the 30th, and ended it with, "Will talk soon, Bye." The 28th was a Monday, so she basically took a super-long weekend.

So is "my energy feels off" a valid excuse to call off work? You could argue it's basically the same as a mental health day . . . or you could argue Zoomers don't know how jobs work.

The guy who posted it titled the post, "Corporate world is not ready for Gen Z" . . . but he said he DID ultimately approve the request.

Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen said Anthony Richardson will start at quarterback over Daniel Jones in the team's first preseason game.

Steichen made the announcement Tuesday, Aug. 5 during a news conference ahead of the Thursday, Aug. 7 game against the Baltimore Ravens.

According to Steichen, Richardson will play for approximately a quarter and a half, and then Jones will play for approximately half a quarter.
